Well guys. I’m officially moving to Spain…
Jk – but I totally wish this was my reality. Today I’m flying back home and couldn’t be more bummed that my days will no longer be filled with $12 pitchers of sangria and the stunning views of Formentera. I had a whirlwind five days in Spain and can’t wait to share my Five Day Travel Guide with you guys next week – so stay tuned! But in the meantime, I wanted to share a few looks from my trip starting with this colorblock top I take on literally every trip.
You might remember this top from Paris and maybe even before my Parisian adventures. I can’t help it. I love this colorblock top. The fit is amazing, especially when one is stuffing their face with tapas on the regular. I also totally love the cropped detail and layering with the white oxford. It just screams fashion and what better look to wear for our first day of exploring Barcelona.
After the longest 24 hour travel day, I hopped off the plane in Barcelona and slid into this easy look to walk around our neighborhood and grab my first official pitcher of sangria in Spain. And y’all it did NOT disappoint. More on that later though.
Back to today’s #ootd. When packing for this trip, I ended up packing a ton of black + white pieces with pops of red or neutral accessories. I’m not sure what is it but when I thought of Spain I immediately envisioned black, red and white. And let me tell you something – the people in Spain, whether Spaniards or European visitors can dress their asses off. I’ve never seen so much style inspiration. All ages and genders just looked so amazing and chic and cool. I immediately wanted to up my game and don’t get me started on their Zara offerings. You haven’t lived until you’ve been in a five story Zara…one of many on literally every corner.
I knew these simple shorts + black loafers would be the perfect combo with this colorblock top. I scored these slides at Target and they seemed so perfect for this trip. They were super comfy and perfect for walking around Barcelona. And of course, I wore this little red crossbody pretty much every day.
