Today’s look is one that I used to seriously frown upon. I’ve always hated anything that matched – matching printed sets, two piece looks, etc. My mom always tried to get me to wear them and I just couldn’t get into it. My how things have changed. Maybe it’s maturity, maybe it’s the fact that this a trend coming back full circle and made popular by some of my favorite style icons…who knows. What I do know is that I love a good matching set. Gimme a gingham crop + midi skirt or something more modern + chic like this top and pant combo from boohoo…I’m sold.

Not gonna lie, this will not be the last time you see this taupe set on the blog and I may havenot purchased this exact one in a different color…so there’s that.

Loving the idea that this matching set looks like a one piece from first glance. Of course buying separates are better in my book because you can rock each piece differently as well. Love the off the shoulder and wide leg trend for spring xo
