If you’re anything like me, you are always looking for new DIY projects or home updates. Whether you’re ready to change up a whole room (yes yes yes), or just looking for a little color inspiration, Ace Hardware has a super exciting campaign going on right now and I am so excited to share it with you guys. Throughout the entire month of March, The Paint Studio at Ace Hardware is hosting 31 Days of Color, a month-long interactive paint experience where they will unveil a new color every day from the exclusive Valspar® and Clark+Kensignton® paint lines.
To kick off the campaign, I received this gorgeous orange(ish) hue called Safari Sunset from Clark + Kensington. I love the warm tones of this color and couldn’t wait to get my DIY on. And let me preface this by saying I am nothing like Martha. I am actually pretty bad at DIY projects but I was just too excited to add a little color to my loft. So, I opted for a very simple project: the picture frame. I have a ton of frames for some reason – some are being used, most are stacked in my closet waiting for more pictures and/or fun updates. To add a little flare to my desk, I decided to use this one as more of an accessory display. With just one quick coat of paint, this plain knick knack went from drab to fab in no time – and with very limited mess. I might be a pro DIYer after all and kind of want to tackle some vases or bar stools next. Who knows!
Are you ready to discover a new love for color? Head on over to Ace Hardware’s online Paint Studio for all of the fun color unveilings – it’s basically a fun surprise every.single.day. and I promise you will get so much home inspiration for spring. Make sure you enter the 31 Days of Color sweepstakes for the chance to win a $10,000 paint makeover and daily $50 gift cards. And check back in a few weeks for a pretty big project I’ll be sharing as part of my loft makeover!
